Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your individual use of Kraftflix and Spotlight (the "Service"), provided by Dimensionleap Technologies Private Limited ("Kraftflix," "we," "us," "our"), a company in India. Blueprint production planning is coming soon and is not part of the currently available Service. The Service is currently available only in India. By creating an account, starting a trial, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms for yourself.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. Organisation workspaces and employee or enterprise accounts are not currently offered.

You're responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials confidential. Notify us promptly at support@kraftflix.com if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend an account we reasonably believe has been compromised.

2. Use of the Service

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Generate, upload or distribute content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, publicity or other third-party rights — including a real person's likeness, voice, name or performance without their consent.
• Generate or upload unlawful, defamatory, hateful, sexually exploitative (including of minors), or otherwise harmful material.
• Use the Service to build a competing product, to train a separate AI model on our systems or outputs, or to scrape, reverse-engineer, or probe the Service beyond normal use.
• Circumvent credit limits, rate limits or other technical controls, or allow someone else to use your individual account.
• Misrepresent AI-generated material as unedited real footage, or otherwise use the Service to deceive audiences in a way that violates applicable advertising, election, or deepfake-disclosure law.

Where we reasonably believe this section has been breached, we may remove the content, restrict the account, or both — with notice where practical, and a chance to appeal by emailing support@kraftflix.com.

3. Sharing

Your projects and generated outputs are private by default. You are responsible for any sharing or public review link you choose to create and for the permissions and rights of anyone who receives it.

4. Your content

You retain rights in the scripts, briefs, prompts, uploaded media, documents, project data and other content you bring to or create in Kraftflix ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, transmit and display Your Content to provide, secure and support the Service, including sending relevant content to our AI providers under their published terms. We do not sell Your Content or use it to train Kraftflix's own AI models. For script, text and prompt-planning generation, we may use Azure OpenAI models sold by Azure or Anthropic Claude through Microsoft Foundry, and may upgrade model versions over time. Microsoft's published terms for models sold by Azure say prompts and outputs are not used to train foundation models without customer permission; content filtering and abuse monitoring may still apply. Anthropic sells and operates Claude in Microsoft Foundry and its Commercial Terms separately apply even when Claude is hosted on Azure; those terms say Anthropic may not train models on customer content. Processing and safety review depend on the selected model and deployment. For image and video generation, we send only scene-level prompts, not full scripts, to Kie.ai. Kie.ai confirmed to us by email that it does not use prompts, uploaded inputs or generated outputs to train or fine-tune AI models in its own handling; paid upstream model providers operate under their own applicable terms. Kie.ai has not offered a separate DPA or enterprise data-handling commitment. For audio, voice and music/sound generation, we use ElevenLabs directly. Its terms permit training unless the account opts out; Kraftflix has disabled its account's "Improve the models for everyone" Data use setting. That opt-out is not retroactive. You must have all rights and permissions needed for anything you upload or reference. See the Privacy Policy for provider details.

5. AI-generated output

Kraftflix uses generative AI to produce scenes, images, video, storyboards and other output ("Generated Output") from Your Content and your prompts. A few things follow from that:

• Rights we can grant. As between you and Kraftflix, we grant or assign to you only the rights, if any, that we can legally grant in Generated Output you create, and we won't claim ownership over rights we do not have.
• Kie.ai-generated image and video output. Kie.ai told us by email that Kraftflix and its users may use output from its API commercially, that Kie.ai claims no ownership of it, and that Kie.ai imposes no additional use restrictions. This does not override upstream-provider terms or third-party rights. Kie.ai does not indemnify against third-party intellectual-property infringement claims.
• The law here is still unsettled. Copyright in AI-generated material is an evolving area of law, and courts in multiple jurisdictions have held that output with no meaningful human authorship may not be eligible for copyright protection at all. We can't guarantee that Generated Output is protectable, original, or free of third-party rights. The more of your own creative judgment goes into a prompt, a selection, or an edit, the stronger your claim to authorship over the result — plan accordingly for anything you intend to rely on commercially.
• Your responsibility. You're responsible for reviewing Generated Output before you rely on or publish it, and for confirming you have rights to any real person's likeness, brand, trademark or location referenced in a prompt.

6. Plans, credits & payments

Paid plans are billed in advance for the billing cycle you select (monthly or annual). Credits are consumed by AI and compute-intensive actions; viewing, organising and downloading finished work does not consume credits. Monthly credits expire after one month and do not carry forward. Purchased top-up credits expire one year after purchase and are drawn down after your plan credits, earliest-expiring first. Prices shown are exclusive of GST, which is added at checkout where applicable.

Free trials. Where a plan includes a free trial, you won't be charged until the trial ends. We'll make a reasonable effort to notify you before the trial converts to a paid subscription; cancelling before that point means you're not charged.

Refunds. Because credits are consumed as you use the Service, we don't offer refunds for credits already spent. We may consider refunds for accidental purchases, failed generation, or service outages. Contact support@kraftflix.com promptly with the relevant details. Statutory refund rights under applicable consumer law are not affected by this section.

Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing; downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You can cancel a subscription through the in-app Cancel button; cancellation stops future renewals but doesn't retroactively refund the current cycle except as described above.

7. Service availability

We work to keep the Service reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may need to suspend access for maintenance, security, or legal reasons.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service, or delete your account, at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for a material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or where we reasonably believe it's necessary to protect the Service or other users, and will give notice where practical before doing so. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, payment obligations already accrued, liability, governing law) continue to apply.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service and Generated Output are provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that Generated Output will meet your requirements or be free of errors.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kraftflix's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose (or ₹5,000 if you're on the Free plan). Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data, even if advised of the possibility.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Kraftflix harmless from third-party claims arising from Your Content, your use of Generated Output, or your breach of these Terms — including claims that a prompt or upload infringed someone else's rights or used their likeness without consent.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have, disputes arising out of these Terms will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved within 30 days, referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in Hyderabad, Telangana with proceedings conducted in English. The courts at that location have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter not subject to arbitration.

12. Copyright, IP & takedown requests

You're responsible for having the rights to anything you upload or reference in a prompt — including copyrighted material, a real person's likeness, or a third-party brand. Section 4 above covers how ownership of Your Content and Generated Output works.

If you believe something on Kraftflix infringes your rights, email support@kraftflix.com with: (1) a description of the work you believe is infringed; (2) the specific content on Kraftflix and where it appears; (3) your contact details; and (4) a statement made in good faith that the use isn't authorised. We'll review promptly and may remove or restrict access to the flagged content while we investigate.

If you believe a takedown was made in error, send a counter-notice to the same address identifying the content and explaining why it shouldn't have been removed; we'll review it in good faith and restore access where warranted.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product, the law, or our practices evolve. We'll notify you in-product or by email of material changes and give you a chance to review them before they take effect; continued use after the effective date is acceptance. Prior versions are available on request.
